Consider your sister, your friend, your colleague. The lady who smiled at you at the dinner table last week and still managed to smile despite carrying something heavy in her smile.

These days consider women you will never see.

The adolescent girl in a small town who studies on candlelight since she has silently, rebelliously made her choices that learning is her path to salvation.The young refugee camp mother who sings to her child at night so that he or she becomes a child who is not afraid of the dark.The woman in a law court struggling against a system that has never been created to accommodate her.The female scientist that has resubmitted her research paper in a journal that continues to give her a reason to say no.

These women do not share a country or a culture or a language. But they share something that cannot be translated or taken away from an unmarkeable will to keep going.

That is what Intrrtnational Women’s Day honors. Not  perfection. Not superhumanity. Just that unbreakable will.

To the Woman Who Thinks She is Not Enough

You have felt it before. That quiet, creeping voice that tells you that you are too emotional for leadership, too soft for byusiness, too ambitious for your own good, too loud, too quiet, too much, not enough.

The voice is not yours.

It was handed to you by a world that spent centuries convincing women to make themselves smaller so that others could feel bigger. It was written into systems and cultures and casual conversation and raised eyebrows at boardroom tables.

But here is what that voice never told you: 

Your emotional intelligence is not a weekness. It is the single most valuable leadership quality of the 21st century. Your ability to hold complexity to nurtyr and negotiate, to feel deeply and still think clearly is not ordinary. It is extraordinary. The world’s most interactable problems are not going to be solved by cold logic alone. They are going to be solved by people who can feel the human cost of those problems, and still have the courage to act.

That is you.

You did not stumble into this world by accident. Every scar you carry, every hard conversation you survived, every time you got back upp when you had every right to saty down that is not backstory. That is your qualification.

Stop waiting for permission to take up space. The space was always yours.

What You Can Do – Because Action is Not Optional 

It is only warm at the time of inspiration and then gone by noon.  

International Women Day 2026 would like more than a warm feeling. The following is what actual participation would resemble:  

Challenge in the room: When a woman is disregarded in a meeting, and a man reiterates the same thought which is applauded afterward, challenge. Be clear. She said it five minutes ago. It is free, yet it is a great deal.  

Pay women well: As a boss, have you checked your pay regime? Gender pay disparities are not going to dissipate. You have to take a look at the figures and correct what you discover.  

Believe women: When a woman tells you that she was discriminated against, harassed, or treated unfairly, you should believe her first and not tell her that it was not that much.  

Invest in education of girls: Educated girls are the most effective means of reducing poverty, enhancing health and creating stable economies in the world. In case you can assist in a scholarship, a school or an organization that takes girls to school, do so.  

Share with the women around you what you think of them. Today, not later. This is why now that women spend so much time with other people, some of them will die without realizing the amount of difference they have made in the world.  

A Letter to Every Young Girl  

Darling girl, I understand that the world may be a lot at the moment. I understand that sometimes you get the impression that some rules are not applied to you but to somebody who you are merely trying to locate his place.  

You fit everywhere.  

I understand there are individuals who will see that you are disabled and therefore will concentrate on your weaknesses instead of your talents. They can request you to be realistic when they mean that you are to be smaller. They can all refer to your ambition as arrogance and your confidence as attitude.

Do not listen to them.

The women who changed history were not the ones who played it safe. They were the ones who decided  at some point on some ordinary Tuesday that they were done shrinking. That their dreams were not too big. That the world could either make room or get out of the way.

You are allowed to want great things. You are allowed to pursue them loudly, impectfully, and without applogizing for the noise you make getting there.

One day a little girl will look at your life the way you look at the women who inspire you now. And she will think “ if she could, i can ”.
